So many CLI tools delivered as bash/bourne shell scripts to source relying on aliases and other shell magic (aliases and functions rather than commands) fall apart when used in automated unattended environments like build processes.

5 year or more year old used HP enterprise workgroup printer only or mopier with low page count are ideal for personal use. In general, the more expensive the initial purchase price of laser printers, the more repairable and durable and lower cost per page they are. (I worked in a large university department in the 00's where they had zillions of network enterprise HP printers of all sizes.)

I have an HP LaserJet Pro M402dw because I don't have a particular need for color.

Pretty much. The earlier understanding of and managing risk is more practical than a making a world that's absolutely safe in a small area that's unrealistic compared to the rest of it.

I remember a park in San Jose that had a vertical steel art maze that only kids could fit into and a Korean-era jet in the sandbox. The boring safety helicopter parents ripped out everything fun and replaced it with corporate plastic garbage that's incredibly safe but soulless and rarely used.

I'm fine with crypto for transactions, but I'm not fine with my government using our money to pick winners and losers, conflicts of interest, emoluments, or artificially propping up what are likely bubbles and pyramid schemes.
