>which no government around the world has been able to materialise an answer to.
I disagree. The whole hot political topic of "illegal immigration" is as a side effect - seemingly a successful solution to motivate (foreign) people to bump the population. Specifically - "if you have a kid in the US, the kid is automatically a citizen, you don't have to pay taxes, you don't need a green card, you work under the table so make $0 on paper and thus qualify for free food and housing (welfare) and free healthcare (medicaid)".
Honestly if we gave such a deal to young non-foreign american women free and clear, likely we'd be seeing a lot more childbirths.
Despite all the economic burden and political strife this program has caused, it may in fact extend the life of the nation and welfare.

I think back to every ... overly enthused student council member or student council president or HOA president I've seen in my education, a microcosm of politics. These are people with a fire inside of them to seize these positions. Speaking with them, as they were my representative to the academic leadership, they would often hear my request and provide a explanation as to why that was not feasible. A naive assessment of their explanation - often at face value reasonable in the most simplistic of ways, a slightly deeper reflection would reveal it was a convenient excuse for the truth - they had a completely different motivation, usually self-interest in nature, but hidden behind the lie to hide the ugly truth.
The same is much true of California. So many strict laws and regulation. For the environment? For safety? Why I can't build a house? No, no - they don't want anyone building houses to keep the prices pumped up high. Same for many things. Keep PG&E rich, and PG&E will keep the people in power rich either directly or through the major supporters of said politicians

What are the chances that breaking up a tumor this way seeds cancer elsewhere in the body?
Welp I put it to you like this - if you DON'T use this then you have a gorillion cancer cells among which very likely one genetically predisposed to adventure throughout the body as turbocancer.
If you use this, or radiotherapy, or whatever, presumably there is just a lump of dead tissue where the cancer was, signifying at best you cured it but at worst, knocked it down - specifically if you knocked it down from a gorillion to a million cells, genereally speaking if the body has been seeded or the tumor persists - the tumor will take longer to rebuild back up where it was. The latter is manifested as another such and such months of life, making the therapy "life extending"

- emotional damage on focus to try to get this job
- loss of free market value of your data (company profited from this data, when you could have profited from it)
- damages for acquisition of your personal data under a fraudulent basis (when otherwise, maybe you did not want your data shared)

And that would be wrongthink. The narratives. The historic narratives. The woke ideology. Anything related to an academic department whose field is <population subgroup> studies. Interestingly it also made me race blind as well - I'm probably one of the few people in the world who can say that! I do identify loved ones from the sound of their voice, though, or if not speaking, I can sometimes tell from how they walk and move. Same thing races, it's not hard to tell if someone's voice sounds black or if they walk like a white guy

> some immigrants about what brought them to the United States in the first place.
What brought them to the US is that if they have a kid, now their kid is a citizen. Green card etc waived - you wouldn't deport a family would you? Now they nominally have zero income so they qualify for full on super duper welfare - food, house, medical care. Of course find a job, too - but has to be under the table because no green card. Meaning no taxes either. So free food, free house no rent, free medicine, no taxes. Medical care legally requires accomodations for foreign languages - don't need to speak English either.
I mean, if Japan said, "if you have a kid here, live here on our dime, eat on our dime, free medical care, no taxes" yea I would take that deal!! Can't blame em
Irony of the whole thing? This actually kinda solves the population crisis. Forces people to have a kid. Actually an interesting finding but poorly explored since the powers that be like to bury their head in the sand and pretend 50 million people haven't exploited this.
Other point is well, why did this even happen? Well, the landlords are quite happy to see the feds paying for rent, they'll collect that check, as with the food suppliers and the medical care practitioners - a very nice niche. And the small businesses are more than happy to pay someone under the table untaxed, lower overhead. So the people coming in illegally, they benefit, the people collecting the taxes paying for them, they benefit, everybody else, welp, there goes your tax money

low probability in this case because this guy seems a repeat offender but absolutely things can get that toxic and ugly
> trying to beat the other student to the punch w.r.t publication,
this is my highest suspicion. Why is anxiety. Deep anxiety. Anxiety about failing. Anxiety about the other guy beating you. Sabotaging other guys's computer alleviates the anxiety so thusly becomes a repeat pattern. Anxiety can be quite insidious and nasty and is more pervasive in more ways than many are aware.
> good ol' schizophrenic delusions that the person's work needs to be stopped

I get gummies at 2000000000 IU and that's not even the final form of my vitamin
Also what's an IU. Apparently it's meant to normalize impact across vitamin D species of which there are multiple. Part of me can see the reasoning but it runs contrary to how much of medicine/pharma operates, generally in such form as either mg per time interval or mg/kg per time interval. It would be like taking the whole armada of blood pressure drugs and dictating their doses in mmHg instead of milligrams. If only things were so simple!

there's a bunch of BS going on with autism that I find very obnoxious
1) I see autism as non-verbal, no concept that other people or conscious minds exist. That's what -actual- autism is to me. And there are plenty of people like that.
2) In light of the above definition, I see the concept of "autism is on a spectrum" as extremely disrespectful to both autists and non-autists. For example, if I have a deformed pinky toe I'm not now on the "paraplegic spectrum disorder". If my IQ is 99 I'm not on the "braindead spectrum disorder" and so on. Such a system applies a negative label to people with the most extreme form, and simultaneous everyone else gets a taste of that label too.
3) the above smooshiness of definition has caused autism to be embraced by people - people who have legitimate mental disorders - just not autism. Moreso the cluster B family of disorders i.e. the manipulative and dramatic family. They are "neurodivergent" vs "neurotypical" and now they have just conjured manipulative leverage from thin air.
