I want to work at a startup, but I don't know how to stand out. Any advice? I'm a senior atm but if I could I'd drive down to SF tomorrow to start work...
I build a lot and love it but some of these applications say things like "what are you the top 1% at?". I don't go to a target school and have no idea how to market myself. My skills / interest are in vision + interactivity AI applications. For ex: building a full stack local llm app to control a 3D blender scene, getting NVIDIA's research libraries to run headlessly (drone -> 3d selfie), and I've been babysitting extra hrs to save up for AR glasses to do spatial hacking with.

I think that has to do with the nuance of programming a voice based flow that works for everyone. LLMs are on a different UX bandwidth.

Finally going to have proper inflow of training data for 3D & robotics. 3D has its LLM moment. Simulation gets a major brain boost it’s so janky to make scenes rn.
Early research on vaccines to help the body synthesize or remove small particles like plastics and pollutants.
An update on mandatory nutrition labels.
Devastating cyberphysical infrastructure incident due to natural disaster or hack. We get through it with love and grace, to everyone’s surprise.
I get into grad school, I hope.

Exactly. My boyfriend’s mom is that waitress trope. She sure was happy when he got an EE degree though. Hard work to do forever.

I doubt your friend base is predominantly min wage. Mine is, and universally, every single person’s opinion has been gratitude bordering on disbelief that as gen Z we can get by. “They were given flexibility that most people would envy”…then you leave tech to work at McD’s. Yes the restaurants are expensive but they haven’t been for the working class since the automat anyway.
