Thank you so much for reminding me! I had kind of given up but your comment prompted me to check again and it turns out Bandai Namco recently put all the original soundtracks on streaming. Na na na na na na na na …

Ugh. Trying to get something running with openRewrite at work.

A private, authenticated repo is going to be a spanner in the works since now it means setting up and maintaining custom stuff in Artifactory, and getting that sponsored.

Funny thing is, a bit of arson is kind of normal on their estates. But usually it’s just stolen cars.

I works assume if/when something really kicks off the starlink and starshield networks would be high priority targets.

(I’m mildly curious what their ground stations in Central Europe look like from this perspective).

I quite like the way passports touch on this - the electronic part has a password; that password is made up of info from the printed data page - so you need both sets of information to validate it.

New comment by andylynch in "Escape IntelliJ: Scala and Kotlin LSPs on Emacs Eglot"

andylynch — Thu, 23 Jul 2026 09:08:47 +0000

I think Jetbrains did that already; the Kotlin LSP server is derived from the (also open source) IntelliJ plugin

I’ve seen bugs like this in prod systems. The notional value of the error tends to make the people concerned anything but silent.

andylynch — Sat, 13 Jun 2026 15:01:52 +0000

andylynch — Fri, 29 May 2026 09:37:54 +0000

Why are you misrepresenting about UK law?

Yes, it can be a criminal offence. But the maximum tariff for this under RIPA 2000 is five years. If it’s not about nation security or CSAM, it’s two.

(Incidentally, the USA is a real outlier in this topic)
