It really pains me to read the responses here to this and the AHM statements. It feels like HN people here are talking with such... privilege. These are the smartest people on the planet saying "hey, please don't do this, it's seriously hampering our work in this field". And then people on here say that mathematicians are... gate keeping? Not embracing progress? Who are you to say that? How do you know? What happened to empathy for others? I don't understand you all...

I wonder how common of a problem this will be in the future. The experiment will fail due to improper setup, the human will at best glance over the logs and declare victory, and everyone just believes.

Netcup (a European registrar) has had issues with parts of their DNSSEC infrastructure, leading to many domains advertised DS records not matching Netcups DNSSEC keys.
You can verify this by grabbing the DS records for one of the affected domains (pikz.cc):

    > dig @1.1.1.1 pikz.cc DS +short
    33487 8 2 4AF88BD043D909E290E2CC69626E619CC4BC54F98469042AB696027F DB981B8E

and comparing it to the DNSSEC key:

    > dig @root-dns.netcup.net pikz.cc DNSKEY +multiline
    <snip>
    ;; ANSWER SECTION:
    pikz.cc.  86400 IN DNSKEY 256 3 8 (
    <snip>
    ) ; ZSK; alg = RSASHA256 ; key id = 51649
    pikz.cc.  86400 IN DNSKEY 257 3 8 (
    <snip>
    ) ; KSK; alg = RSASHA256 ; key id = 37505

Note how neither 51649 nor 37505 are the advertised DS of 33487.
I noticed this issue on Saturday, and have contacted support three times. I received an "issue fixed, boss" on Monday, but issues have persisted.
The worst part is that this only shows up on DNS servers implementing DNSSEC, which apparently my uptime monitor does not use, so I never got a warning except for a dip in traffic and a "domain unreachable" error in my browser.
Google (8.8.8.8) and Cloudlflare (1.1.1.1) notably do enforce DNSSEC, so the pages are down when using their services.

But it won't even do that. In the pursuit of extracting maximal capital, better models with "better" knowledge will be gated behind higher prices. If you pay more, you get more.

Alright, here I go.
I don't think you are AI. I merely lament the fact that you found it appropriate to post a clearly LLM generated comment.
The problem with LLM generated comments for me is not their content, but rather their nature. I am not addressing the "actual discussion", as in my personal opinion, there is no "discussion" to be had. The post constitutes an automated response akin to an answering machine (be it much more sophisticated), and I generally do not find discussions with answering machines interesting at all.

This is not true. The UK has a £3.85 meal deal that is a sandwich + a snack + a drink. It's hugely popular.
Germany has the Döner Kebab, it's now about 5-9€, but the have cheaper options available too. Again, hugely popular.
I'm sure most European cities have these.
