These are extremely common and well-discussed opinions, you can disagree with them but I would venture that asking "WHY do you think AI will negatively impact the economy?" is so ignorant it's not even a good-faith argument.

"AI will displace human labor at very large scale, which is horrible and will lead to mass poverty and premature death, but we still felt the need to aggressively develop & market it to you because uhhhhh if we didn't, someone else might." One molotov wasn't enough for these guys.

Unlike Altman's cronies, at least Anthropic leadership appears to walk the walk with their fear-based marketing, and isn't turning around and donating millions to deregulation Super PACs.

I will never understand why someone would go through all the trouble of developing this cool idea, without bothering to link a demo or include sample output. I see this every day on HN.

So the only way I can see what this skill actually looks like is to download and run it myself? No thank you.

I miss the home button so much. the facial recognition takes far longer and requires that I hold the phone directly in front of my face.
