We use DuckDB WASM with parquet to build dashboards in-browser. It's cool to be able to write SQL directly in a browser and not have to rely on REST/Graphql/etc to access the data layer.

Allow people to charge 25 cents to accept calls from unknown numbers.

I believe iOS has a feature to force unknown numbers to declare themselves before connecting, which is less good but still a thing.

When I was in college we had a professor that would assign a 20ish page paper due every other Saturday.

One of the students was certain the reports were not reviewed and just given a vibes grade based on the student.

So he handed in pages of literally “blaah blaaaah blaaah…” and got an A

They did this same dance about 10 years ago, and last minute caved to American Kratom Association and did not ban.

This time AKA is lobbying FOR this ban, as 7oh gives kratom a really bad name.
