I noticed there wasn't a good central place for Black Friday software deals this year, so I built one: blackfridayappdeals.com

*It's completely free to submit your deal* - no paid tiers, no featured spots, just a simple form where you can add your Black Friday/Cyber Monday offer.

The site organizes deals by category (Productivity, Developer Tools, Design, AI Tools, etc.) and includes search functionality so people can easily find what they're looking for. I'm planning to promote it through various channels to drive traffic to all the submitted deals.

*Why I built this:* - Last year, I struggled to find a comprehensive list of SaaS deals - Most deal sites charge hundreds of dollars just to get listed - I wanted to help indie makers and small SaaS companies get visibility without breaking the bank

Today I'm launching a chrome extension that is designed to help you do research on other Tiktok profiles.

The inspiration came after doing many hours of research on other Tiktok profiles myself. * What are their most popular videos? * What hashtags are they using? * What audio are they using?

So I built something to help me answer all these questions and give me a peak into other's people Tiktok strategy.

The question is not longer IF machines are capable, the question is WHEN. And the when is no longer decades away.

The purpose I made this was to create additional content from videos (blogs, social media posts). So, I plan to add some additional stuff like export to .webp to optimize size or different aspect ratios.

It's a web app that runs in the browser. You can mark the timestamps, set a gradient background to look nicer and then export.

It's free and everything happens locally, so it's privacy friendly.

A few months ago I was toying with the idea of building a no-code scraper. I shared a prototype on twitter and it blew up, so I continued working on it.

This is how PandaExtract was born.

Originally I was aiming to build a full web scraper but slowly realized that trying to cover every scraping need is just too complex. So I niched it down to a very specific use case: List + Page Details.

What it can do now: * Extract Lists instantly * Extract Page Details using AI models (best for small data that can fit into a spreadsheet)

Who is it meant for? This is not meant to replace more traditional scraping operations but rather allow people to quickly grab some structured data from websites.

Most common use cases are reviews extraction, phone numbers, local business lists, product lists…

Most of the plugin is Free but there are some PRO features.

Maybe 10 years ago.

I'd argue the opposite, college/uni has negative impact in your life.

They used to offer their apps offline and you could "host" it anywhere. Venture Capital ruined them.

I have never seen a fork last long enough.

Probably because it's considered too big to fail. It's pretty much backed by the US gov.
