IANAL but iirc DRM is governed by federal law, specifically the DMCA. A state law cant override a federal statute, so even if Montana's law were interpreted very broadly, it couldnt nullify the DMCA

I really hope bytedance doesn't bend the knee to the western media cartel. Now that they sold off tiktok, I don't believe they operate in the west and I hope china doesn't enforce western ip here

I guess argument seems to be that any AI capable of eliminating all of humanity would necessarily be intelligent enough to cure all diseases. This appears plausible to me because achieving total human extinction is extraordinarily difficult. Even engineered bioweapons would likely leave some people immune by chance, and even a full-scale nuclear exchange would leave survivors in bunkers or remote areas

I use LLMs daily and they've become an essential part of my life. Really hoping your work can help make LLMs and AI more broadly cheaper and more abundant.

Would be fantastic if you can find a way to make optimizations you find available more openly. The whole ecosystem benefits when efficiency improvements are shared. Looking forward to seeing where this goes and don't let the negativity from some get to you

Would you call something that could replace your labor "spicy auto complete"? He also evokes nfts and blockchain, for some reason. To me this phrasing makes it sound like he thinks they are damn near useless.
