Nope, leave Italy off the well-functioning rail. I am a commuter, i use the train here since 2009 and it's terrible. We're going through the same experiences described in the post, but often even much worse. On December 1st, my train took 6 hours to travel 100km instead of 1 hour so we too felt like the post author.

Just use the Google Authenticator's "Privacy Screen" which requires a PIN, pattern, or biometric verification to open the app. This renders this hack unusable ;-)

Well, they DID remove expected performance by slowing CPU performance, disn't they? People who had bought these iPhones (and not the previous ones) did so also because of the promise of a more powerful CPU, a promise broken by Apple. It is removing a feature (a better CPU) and Apple knew it that's why they did it without informing users.

Just some of them:
- Battery Management (iPhone 6, 6s, and SE): In 2017, Apple introduced a battery management feature in iOS 10.2.1 to prevent unexpected shutdowns by throttling the performance of iPhones with degraded batteries. This led to slower device performance without informing users, which is a removal of expected performance functionality.
- 32-bit App Support: With the release of iOS 11 in 2017, Apple dropped support for 32-bit apps. This meant users could no longer use older apps that had not been updated to 64-bit, effectively removing access to those apps on updated devices = You want the new OS? -> you have less functionality.
- Pulse oximetry features were recently removed from new Apple Watches due to Masimo's patent infringement claim.

I remember Volkov Commander too.
From Wikipedia :"Volkov Commander (VC) is a file manager for DOS inspired by the Norton Commander. Volkov Commander is purely written in assembly language, and is thus very small (less than 100 KB) and fast".
It was really fast and really small when we had the 1.4 mb floppy disk back then.

How high is that frequency is yet unknown:
"Tests with Air force pilots have shown, that they could identify the plane on a flashed picture that was flashed only for 1/220th of a second. That is identifying. So it's pretty safe to say, that recognizing, that SOME light was there is possible with 1/300th of a second." http://www.100fps.com/how_many_frames_can_humans_see.htm

I've just found this site which brought to me my youth.
Description taken rom the site :
"ClassicReload was setup for preservation of 5,000+ old retro abandonware games and abandoned OS/interfaces that you can play online right in your web browser for education and research purposes. There is just something magical about the old DOS games that just brings back memories and takes many of us back to our childhood or a time when things were simpler and just as much fun without all the animation that is the standard these days. These games were from a time when there were so many different types of PC's on the market that all had different hardware. You will notice that many of the games will let you change sounds cards, graphics cards etc. There was so much change in the 80’s and 90’s with DOS games and many seem to be all but forgotten, but we have them here! (If there is a game missing shoot us a message and we’ll put it up.)
This website was not only setup to try to preserve these games, but also to make them playable for free on modern desktop computers, tablets and phones. Before you get started make sure that you are using the latest Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox."

This guy studies Computing Science and writes :
"Javascript is written in Java and meant to script Java programs"
"Javascript only runs on the JVM, which is only available on web browsers. That is only one platform. LUA runs on any CPU that can run assembly code, since LUA was written in C which is portable assembly. It is more portable."
Just one comment : please study more.
