<p>They're hired through a firm generally speaking. I don't know anyone that hires directly. So you pay for the overhead and HR management. etc etc</p>

<p>Dev costs are around 40-45 USD per hour for a lower average in Ukraine. Annual salary would be closer to 90K.</p>

I found the biggest issue with these engagements is the trust with remote developers.</p>

<p>I had some interest in the last few months working with macOS 9.2. Got it running through a few different emulation options. The main issues I saw was that there is no morsel web browser. SSL support is limited even if you manage to get an updated version of Classilla. Another issue is that development is extremely limited. Would be interesting to have a modern version of 9.2. I would give it a proper go.</p>
