On one hand I'm glad to see this being added, but its becoming obvious building generics into the language as-is just isn't a good fit. Hopefully Go v2 can solve this at a more foundational level while still allowing interop or easy porting form current go code.

I understand your pain. One of the cruel realities of ADHD is how difficult it makes doing the things needed to help you treat it. I honestly just went with whatever my doctor/insurance gave me. Its a Luna G3X and my insurance uses a company called BetterNight. They have been fine so far, but I know there are also companies you can use that don't take insurance that I have generally heard are better to work with if you are okay with not using insurance. Lofta was what was recommended to me by a coworker.

I recently went through this. I was diagnosed with ADHD 15 years ago and have been managing it, but over the last 2-3 years I had been experiencing increased levels of brain fog, fatigue, and by ability to focus had deteriorated to the point I wasn't sure if I would be able to continue working. I had a sleep study done 10 years ago that only found Night Terror Disorder, but no signs of sleep apnea. I did another sleep study about 6 months ago and it turns out while I wasn't having apnea events I had constant and persistent hypopnea. Started using a CPAP and it feels like I've been given a second lease on life. FWIW, I am a very active and in shape individual within a healthy weight range. Don't wait to get tested if you have even the slightest worry you may have it.

Zensical has been a solid replacement for us so far. In general everything "just works" out of the box and is way quicker to build/reload. It is still in fairly early stages, but is actively being worked on https://zensical.org/spark/proposals/zap-005-navigation-auth...

I hope they are able to monetize in a way the keeps the core project open while making it a sustainable venture going forward.

1. I'm pretty sure setting "Maximum Tabs" does what you want, but not positive.

2. Uncheck "Hide .gitignore" setting and it won't do this.

4. This is configured in the "Restore on Startup" setting (I think you want "Last Session")

This might have been bad timing. Copilot API broke things last weekend with caused a lot of tool calls in various agent harnesses to start failing like the edit tool.

They dont care. Their sales reps absolutely know that if you are using Microsoft products it is because you are locked in so deeply that escape is nearly impossible.

I like CUE a lot. We use it pretty heavily for schema enforcement of CRDs. That being said, it is pretty complex and learning to use it was anything but straight forward.

For more basic configs, I would potentially look into KCL https://www.kcl-lang.io/

It has a much simpler usage overall especially if you are only really trying to enforce some config rules.

The other alternative is to just use whatever language you are writing your software in and build a basic validator

Lets put it this way, no engineer is choosing to use bitbucket. You use it because some SVP made the mistake of choosing atlassian software a decade ago and refuses to change.
