Make friends. Get close with professors you like and are competent. Try stuff, reinvent the wheel. Do things manually first, automate it later. Memorize the things you know you're never gonna use in real life to pass the tests, don't go complaining like a child. Getting into to college is hard, getting out holding the degree is harder.

It is actually a Google box, at least the software is (don't know if it's modified by Xiaomi). The custom launcher gets rid of those shitty recommend videos on YouTube / Prime / Netflix...

Got myself a mi box with a custom launcher. Way better than any other Smart TV out there. Unless there's a smart tv that does not show ads right on the fing front page.

Anyway, the box is powerful enough to do several things. You can install a IP tv if you want. If you don't, you still have a pretty good media center (you can hook up an external hd on it)

There were two companies posting on hn some time ago that I suspect was just gathering training data (asking for a code challenge or to answer 2 questions about 60 seconds long answering some bs). I feel like we should denounce those as well. Posting jobs that don't actually exists. Specially those that post month after month.

A few weeks ago I released wordit, a game where starting from a four letter word, you need to come up with as many other words you can, Changi one letter at a time. To make it more competitive I've created a leaderboard. The game starter with scores of 20s, then 100s and finally 1000s. The record right now is more than 6000. After a brief investigate I realize it was a bot. Several bots took a stab at my game. I then just split the leaderboard into humans and bots. I found it funny.

Yes. She left that house to work on a nursery home with the nuns. Then on a supermarket, I think. Then my father knocked her up at the age of 20. Interesting woman.

Yup, my mom and her sisters were all sent off to work on family houses when they were about 10 - 12. They were born in the country side, and my grandpa didn't care for them at all.
