I’m making an RPG Engine/toolset (i.e. Final Fantasy SNES or Game boy) that targets iOS/Android and the tools themselves are shippable in the mobile client (or web if you want some actual screen real estate)

I've never really considered it a feeling of doom. It only lasts a partial second or two and you don't really have time to feel anything.
I mean, it literally can take your heart going 400 beats a minute, stop it, and instantly start going 72. It feels fucking crazy but I never have time to feel "doom" specifically.
I do know that the paramedics love administering it though haha.

Just try and recognize you're not the only person on the internet. Do right by them, and if you fuck up, apologize and move on.
If you're getting angry that you (might) upset someone else you need to take a hard look in the mirror. Not only because you're immediately acting like their feelings don't matter because you didn't MEAN to offend them. But also, why don't you have a hobby? If you do, apologize to the person you upset and move on and reclaim that time to do something productive.

I second almost everything here. Mainly:
> "with AI enrichment of contacts" What does this mean? Sounds vague and scary.
and
> I dislike the "Y" over "Why" in "Y not trust us". Is this supposed to be cutesy text speak or something?
I'm a former CTO of a startup and Senior Engineer at another now. I don't want to work with anything with spelling errors and I have ABOUT 30 seconds to investigate new SASS services and since I don't immediately understand what you offer, I'd just move on.
It's all fixable though, Im sure.

100%. Tesla is THE car for long roadtrips in the US and the narrative otherwise needs to stop.
CURRENT Superchargers charge up to 600 miles per hour. COMPLETELY dead to COMPLETELY full is like 30 minutes. But most stops to charge will only last long enough for you to pee and grab a red bull
NEW superchargers charge up to 1000 miles per hour. Do the math. You're going to have to start jogging if you want your redbull before idle fee's kick in.
Combine that with autopilot. I took a trip in a gas rental car recently and HATED it. Tesla for roadtrips for sure.

They changed their branding 2-3 months ago. I thought it was weird at first, but it's kinda working. I'm personally sick of all the nice car commercials looking more like a Calvin Klein cologne ad.

> I honestly don't know why people waste time building Electron apps.
Yes you do. Because some people understand UI design and know how to program in javascript/html/css and have a need to make a desktop app.
For example, a small budget indie startup has enough to make ONE version of their app to get funding. They can use JS with the same budget and launch on Web, PC, Mac, Linux, iOS and Android instead of just making a single Windows native app.
There is 100% a place for electron. You can argue that after funding they should convert to native, sure. But if you're reading HN you are definitely smart enough to know why a lot of us use electron :)
tldr; Smart use of electron is NOT for the end user. It's for the developer.
