I happened to be in a village where someone died. I was blown away by how different it sounded. The first person almost sounded dramatic(to me), but the choir that joined truly made something that was haunting.

I never knew my nose was large, or anything really. The first person I met told me I had a 'sharp' nose and kept staring at it.
What I figured later was that Americans have tons of ways to differentiate people. Height, weight, eye color, hair color, race, etc. In a more homogeneous country, I guess noses are definers.

No, I understand it perfectly. And it's BS. I'm not usually confrontational here, but please, stop. Make a twitter post about awful me, where you'll probably find validation, but don't try to paint me as bad innocently here, please.
My wife, a dark villager, is a starkingly beautiful person, who knows everything. Hole in your shirt? She'll sew it. Found an unknown plant? She'll identify it and tell you how to grow it. I had a weird bump on my arm that wouldn't go away...she said it's an infection and cut it out...and now it's gone. I could probably list a hundred remedies she has.
She's the most amazing person in the world I've ever met, please don't treat me like some carpet bagger or colonist. I ran the entire thing by her before posting, and she, as a person with experience in both worlds, agrees.
But, we'll leave it to you, a presumably white person, to tell us both how to feel. So please, educate us.

I wrote more in another comment, at the risk of getting canceled. I just don't understand why noticing trends and things about other people is racist. Most things I noticed were things I was jealous of. All people aren't the same, no matter what people push for.

For some reason, pointing out differences in people triggers some racist warning. I think it's absolutely fascinating. I'll list just a few.
To list a few examples from the Philippines...they point with their lips, small people with unusually big feet, which probably lends to climbing trees. I noticed this riding transport, as everyone wears flip flops. I wear a 13 US, and I borrowed shoes that fit from a 5'7 man. I saw people climb a vertical tree like a ladder. Please don't take this as some insult, I'm jealous.
They generally have small noses and recognize people by noses. I've never had so many people comment on my nose in my life. Half were in awe, half were insulting.
But it varies so much. In Manila you see a lot of lighter, almost hispanic looking people. In the villages, you see darker and wilder looking people. I remember a bad storm in the villages, and a lady sitting rocking holding her legs and something just seemed so primal in the reaction and look on her face.
I'll -never- forget how they cry, it's so different than Americans. Haunting really.
Probably the most stark thing I noticed though was how easy they sleep. You could get on a hot, crowded, bumpy bus and everyone is sleeping as if they're on a mattress. My wife and daughter are from the region, and are usually sleeping by the time I leave the neighborhood in my vehicle, which makes me think there's something there.
They are the friendliest, and by far the most spry people. I remember waking up hearing the hotel lady's flip flops clanking as she ran between rooms. Everyone ran everywhere, it's so much faster and more efficient than how us overweight Americans waddle around. Jealous, again.

Same with Ford. And while I do think the addresses should be returned, they should get market value or above for them. We should not punish companies for buying into the future, which turned out to be a great investment.

I respect that, but you can't get rid of it without a complete and utter total shutdown of people coming in. Probably easier for Australia than most.
USA has a lot of really uneducated and/or ignorant people, but even without it, global travel would keep pounding us with it. I imagine Australia would have a similar issue.

Neat idea, two thoughts:
On mobile, it completely breaks the back button. I had to swipe about 50 times and watch it letter by letter to get back here.
Secondly, what's the data source? I just tested 'segue' which counted as 1, which makes me think it's guessing instead of like, a word map. Just curious now.

I've definitely noticed this.
As a kid we ate mostly natural food, as my parents had a decent sized farm. We always had salt on the table, and went through a lot of it.
As an adult without a farm, I cannot remember the last time I even touched the salt shaker. I've actually made spaghetti once that was near inedible because the sodium in the sauce, cheeses, and meat made it incredibly salty tasting.

Definitely. If I had to generalize license plate behavior based on my experience here -
NJ - Drive like they're in NYC, no turn signals, will try to merge/squeeze into 3 inches of space.
NY - Must not have lane rules, they just sit in the left lane regardless of speed.
PA - Highly aggressive and dangerous. Will tailgate you, will brake check you, will drive 30 over and punish you if you happen to block their path.
FL - Wildcard. Everyone is from one of the above, so who knows which you'll be dealing with.

Yeah...I was surprised the cops helped at all.
My dad has many high end game/trail cameras. One of his went missing, so he checked the others and found clear as day video of the neighbor trespassing and stealing it.
Took it to the cops, and they acted annoyed and told him to just sue. I was in disbelief.

Scary to admit this, but whatever. In my younger years, which coincidentally were also the younger years of the internet, I used to come across... let's say...bad things all the time.
Being a decent enough human, I made many reports to NCMEC. Human verified(me) reports.
Never once did I hear back. Not even some weird auto-reply. Needless to say, I have zero faith in that agency. Fitting they'd get others to do the work.

Eh...I don't think of it as one in a trillion scans...but one in a trillion chance per image. I have something like 2000 pics. My wife, at least 5x that number. If we split the difference, and assume the average device has 5000 pics, that's already hitting false positives multiple times. Feel sorry for the first 5 to get their account banned on day 1 because their pic of an odd piece of toast was reported to the govt as cp.

I think any 'foreign' demographic would be a rather big hit. I know plenty of folks who watch just one or two foreign language stations, because that's all that really cater to or interest them.
There's definitely been more movement in the space, but it's still really lacking. I can't imagine it would cost a ton to license most foreign content for the US, which they currently have 0 percent market share of.

Is there a big one? Or is it that there are what, like 10 types of things called nurse now? I'm asking earnestly, not making an accusation.
Ten years ago in a LCOL area, I knew an RN making about that, and they were treated like queens. Was able to work 3 12's, be paid for 40 hrs, and given hotel stay for free, among other things...usually including optional unlimited overtime at double pay.
Then I knew some CNAs or LPN(can't remember which) who made much, much less.
