I built image0.dev, a small set of image utilities that run completely in the browser.

There’s no backend. No uploads. No tracking. No accounts.

All image processing happens locally using browser APIs and web workers. Once loaded, it works offline.

Current features: • Compress images • Resize images • Convert formats (PNG / JPG / WEBP) • Batch processing (including folders) • Before / after preview • EXIF metadata removal

Show HN: A daily puzzle and 90-second brief I built to start my mornings

I built a small browser puzzle based on a graph theory idea I find unintuitive:

You delete tiles from a grid, but the remaining tiles must stay connected. One wrong move ends the run.

I’ve been using it as a short mental warm-up in the morning, along with a very brief daily news summary.

No login, no feed, no scrolling. Takes ~5 minutes.

Curious how others approach it or where it breaks.

I've built SnoopSignal, a tool that scans Reddit in real-time to surface real, unsolved problems that could be turned into tech products or startups.

Why I built it: I was spending hours on Reddit trying to hunt for startup ideas. I realized there's a goldmine of real-world problems buried in long posts and comments but they’re hard to find. So I built a tool to do that for me.

The fact that you recognize this in yourself and in your kid already means you're aware enough to help guide him. Maybe the goal isn’t to ‘fix’ it but to help him explore in a way that doesn’t feel like a dead end.

That’s an interesting take, and honestly, there’s a lot of truth to it. The idea that happiness doesn’t have to come from relentless striving is something we don’t hear enough. Finding peace in ‘being your best mediocre self’ is probably healthier than chasing some external validation that never really satisfies.

Also, I would love to read your book.
