From the title I thought this was talking about cramming the night before an exam. ;-) Or if it’s an open book exam learning during the exam as one goes through the textbook.

The first paragraph reminds me of the following from The Joy Luck Club.
It started to rain again, just a light rain. The people from downstairs called up to me once again to hurry. And my thoughts became more urgent, more strange.
I asked myself, what is true about a person? Would I change in the same way the river changes color but still be the same person? And then I saw the curtains blowing wildly, and outside rain was falling harder, causing everyone to scurry and shout. I smiled. And then I realized it was the first time I could see the power of the wind. I couldn’t see the wind itself, but I could see it carried the water that filled the rivers and shaped the countryside. It caused men to yelp and dance.
I wiped my eyes and looked in the mirror. I was surprised at what I saw. I had on a beautiful red dress, but what I saw was even more valuable. I was strong. I was pure. I had genuine thoughts inside that no one could see, that no one could ever take away from me. I was like the wind.
I threw my head back and smiled proudly to myself. And then I draped the large embroidered red scarf over my face and covered these thoughts up. But underneath the scarf I still knew who I was. I made a promise to myself: I would always remember my parents’ wishes, but I would never forget myself.

Have similar personal app except that it is for grocery list. It starts with the meals desired and once selected, give you the grocery list of what to get.

Interesting, so what makes an asset class investable or not? For me I think its will there be a continuing market given that it requires adult participation. I think Pokemon will no long be as there is a need for attachment when young and kids these days have more alternatives.

I too have ideas from back in the days and with LLMs it's easy to get started. Previously the activation energy was high but with LLMs you get the basic scaffold in place and then take it from there. Is your friend also working on it? Don't give up, ideas like this are like fine wines, am sure you brain has been running a background process on this idea.

Love it, human summary which adds an emotional connection vs an LLM that summarizes the main points.

This is so cool. I had a similar idea that I did except this one was akin to virtual geocache. Your uploaded a file and could only see the file if you were 5meters within the gps coordinates. Now will take is inspiration from you and add music. Thanks for sharing.

Get them a Mac and iPhone - tech support is available via Apple stores, via iMessage and you can call. A before folks bring in lock in, limiting discussion to tech savy. Forget about ecosystem lockin etc, you are optimizing for your family not for you.

What happens? They will get less returns not zero. This is not a company in the traditional sense that they will go bankrupt so they will be fine. From the article, they are spreading the risk over various companies so there are going to be homeruns. They are also focusing on the growth stage not seed so at this point there are some signals on product market fit. Linking it to tech employment, its similar to engineers focusing on growing companies knowing that the chances of payout are high from stock options is high.

This is similar to a securities line of credit(SLOC). Brokerages already have this. Am not getting how this is so different from todays system. M1 finance and E*Trade, IB all have SLOC. If you own a house you can get an equity line of credit. Either way you a borrowing against an asset that has some value. It just so happens in this case it’s Bitcoin. Is that the only difference?

This reminds of Ghost in the Shell, the anime. There is a concept of a barrier maze that has to be solved before gaining access. There is also a concept of an attack barrier if one tries to force their way into a system.
