Golfing has blown up in recent years and it can be impossible to get tee times at certain golf courses, especially on the weekend.

Inspired by Resy notifications for restaurant bookings, I made an app that lets you pick a day and time range you want to play at a golf course and the app sends you a push notification when there's new availability for you to book.

I've already used it to play at a notoriously difficult course to get weekend tee times at, Los Verdes, in California.

Built with SwiftUI you can download it for iphone/ipad/mac.

I run an iOS app on the side thats at ~$2500 MRR. It lets you generate music playlists from a prompt, like "make me a playlist for music to listen to while coding". I launched in January and it took 2 weeks to get the first $2k in revenue.

Hey HN, I'm Brett and I'm an iOS developer.

I made an app that makes you music playlists using AI in a few different ways. The main being AI prompts - you can enter something like "chill coding music, electronic" or "Music similar to the artist Bob Dylan" and it will generate a playlist for you.

There are other ways to make playlists as well - using computer vision on images, sound recognition in videos, etc.

Yeah that could happen. I'm a Spotify user so I did that first. I took a quick look when starting and the Discover feature wouldn't work with Apple Music (playlists are private without an api to make them public), but the creating the playlist should be possible

Hey HN, I'm Brett and I'm an iOS developer.

LineupSupply uses Apple's Vision framework to read text from an image and then the Spotify API to create a playlist using that text. So if you provide a music festival poster, it will grab the artist names from the lineup and make a playlist for that music festival.

Often when going to a music festival I want a playlist to listen to the artists that will be performing. I couldn't find any other service that automates this, so I made one myself.

The app is free to create as many playlists as you want, but does have a one time in-app purchase of $1.99 to unlock additional features (control over how many songs per artist, custom app icons, etc). You do need to login with your Spotify account, but Spotify Premium isn't required.

I made this app with SwiftUI and its available on iOS and iPadOS. You can technically download it on macOS too, but it's a port of the iPad app.

My roommates and I made this site while applying for software engineering internships. It gives you direct links to company applications.

It currently has over 100 live links and that number will grow as it gets closer to summer.

Definitely. Companies already on the list will be updated when their applications become available and new companies will be added as well.

It is still fairly early in the summer 2017 internship season, so new applications should be coming soon.
