<p>i tested it right now, if autocomplete is turned off or not used the line doesn't get added. generating a commit msg also doesn't trigger it for some reason.</p>

<p>This only happens on commits where autocomplete (via Copilot) was used, which I think is on by default.<p>Still that doesn't seem very reasonable, LLM autocomplete seems like a basic editor feature nowadays.</p>

<p>Some, by working for companies (big tech) that have given little resistance to trump but rather funded his ball room, etc. Sadly, everyone quitting those companies would not really be a reasonable solution either, though there are more possible actions than that</p>

<p>Well it does change if you have more of a choice than reject all or allow all (without needing to go into complicated settings each time). Telemetry is not that unpopular - I'd like devs to fix bugs I encounter.</p>
