I fully agree. What really pisses me off is that these "hacker" groups always spout off how they are doing it to screw the man but then threaten the average person. Millions of them. It just goes to show how uneducated, low-class, and simple these people really are.

How else are they supposed to get an authentic user test? Doctors use placebos because it doesn't work if the user knows about it.

I know this is just a joke. However, I think it's fairly obvious that the CPU would be the main bottleneck for every test. Still fun to measure things.

That answers what N is (why not just say in the article). If you are only going to report medians, is there an appendix with further statistics such as confidence intervals or standard deviations. For serious benchmark, it would be essential to show the spread or variability, no?
