It's disappointing that this is even necessary given earlier promises of opening up the Twitter algorithm.

These little tutorials and games are great. I played VIM Adventures.
However, one thing I really struggle with is learning when I can be doing something more efficiently. I rarely use markers, anything beyond default registers, commands, and so on.
I'm giving Neovim a try for my systems course trying to get better but I do wish these sorts of games pushed me to get better at these more advanced usage tricks.

I personally found this somewhat exciting. While small publishers getting screwed isn’t great, I think it’s fascinating that these tools are challenging the traditional SEO landscape. There was a lot of hype around this with “Web 3”.
If I ask ChatGPT for a recipe, I’m not going to have to read a story about someone’s grandparent first.

This problem particularly interests me.
One of my favorite use cases for these tools is travel where I can get recommendations for what to do and see without SEO content.
This workflow is nice because you can ask specific questions about a destination (e.g., historical significance, benchmark against other places).
ChatGPT struggles with:
- my current location
- the current time
- the weather
- booking attractions and excursions (payments, scheduling, etc.)
There is probably friction here but I think it would be really cool for an agent to serve as a personalized (or group) travel agent.
