No, he's not. He's saying the stock award, had he vested it all and not sold it, would have been worth 500k per year because of how much the stock has gone up.

New grads at amazon make 100 - 120k + 30-60k of stock or bonuses per year.

That isn't quite how I understood this to have gone. It seems like the Russians very much did want to go to the moon, and would have beaten the American's there if they had succeeded in getting their version of the Saturn V off the ground in one piece.

You're missing the point the article is making. If people choose not to take the vaccine, why stop them from going out and getting infected? They have informed consent on the dangers of covid, they can make their own decision.

Would it be a good thing if businesses could be registered in all international character sets? I could see this causing problems. Government officials are only going to be needed to speak the official languages. How would they even refer to these entities they can't read?

Native language adoption in BC is totally doomed by this writing system. No one knows how to say that name and I don't know how they will learn.

If updates to some software "Just breaks your stuff", you have bigger problems with the software than the decision to auto update or not.
