OMG! I just stumbled upon this terrifying info on a Google News feed! I conducted the update on my'24 4XE as the screen had haunted me 3x to do so. I never made the connection to nearly being killed on Saturday 10/10/25, immediately after updating Uconnect & driving, when the Jeep engine died suddenly 3x on a 4 mile drive home. It took a couple of times to unfreeze and restart, but I needed to get out of traffic ASAP. Check engine light is currently on. Wow, this sounds like a dangerous mess. My 3rd Jeep... dealership is not anything like it used to be - thanks Stellantis - now what? Not an Alarmist but this sounds super dangerous, & I realize that I could have been killed. What to do?
