Your comment raises question, if you have ever been to India. Most of those 20% are old people. K-12 education need to be improved but literacy is not a major problem. Also India has cheapest internet in the world.

1. Most Web clients aren't light weight.

2. People will buy laptop with low RAM because that's only what they can afford (hopefully upgradable).

3. They'll crib Chrome being slow, and will be suggested to use lightweight apps.

We may requires, high sugar food to be labeled like cigarettes, maximum portion size available (largest drink can be 500ml), put more tax on it, advertise against it, ban in schools, ban advertisements in children program/movies.

They'll own entire pipeline interface, conduit, backend. Interface is what people get habitual to. If I am a regular user of Claude Code, I may not shift to competitor for 10-20% gains in cost.

As of today you don't need to install one on Windows also. Both OS have inbuilt s/w for this purpose.
