I agree with you about C# there. I don't use it really at all, but the times I did it felt like I was writing Go with how nice the stdlib was and that I could just use the dotnet CLI on Linux too. It was pleasant and productive to use.

That get's the job done too for those events depending on what you need them for. httptrace could be heavy handed if all you want is simple events like you show.

I'm currently going through this now myself. I'm 42 tomorrow and I'll have been programming for 27 years. I'm just so tired of it all, but I don't want to lose the joy of programming. Im trying to just go freelance and be in charge of my own destiny. We'll see where it goes.

I have noticed that most laptops under 14" have those 1/2 keys, but once you go to 15" the overall weight increases a lot. The only 14" laptop I've used with full arrow keys was the System76 Galago Pro Gen 3 (galp3).

I've been using https://www.goatcounter.com and it works great. Nice and simple and I can turn off some tracking features for things I don't care about.

I agree. If I ever get a new machine it will be a Lenovo. The build quality is amazing.
