Honestly there is no safe haven while humans over-consume continue to waste in the chase of excess. We have seen in the last few years all the supposed climate safe areas get hit hard.

Just in recent weeks Openrouter bought out by Stripe and now hugging face bought out by NVIDIA.

Imagine a world where a larger share of companies focus on actual, verifiable improvement of outcomes for people. Not a world dominated by selling more consumption. A world where we go to work to make things better. Outcomes driven by improvements in human health, longevity, and happiness, not by bottom lines and profit margins. To get to that world we will have to be more open about being imposters.

This study is 10 years old and in many of the most important carbon sink areas there is a decline.

It's also that afforestation efforts to replenish lost forests have worked in some countries.

Can you imagine the trillions of trees we would need to have sufficient carbon fixation to level out the burning of 100 million oils of barrel per day?
