Using words like "jumped" in headlines exactly why NPR is continuing to lose public trust. The data is super easy to find. CPI rose slightly last month, and the overall trend looks to have stabilized. I believe the FED targets for ~ 3% inflation.

It's emblematic of the post-modern mindset. When feelings are the diver for truth then there is no moral compass. This kind of mindset redefines "excellence" as anything that helps you feel "good". Is it any wonder that character traits like diligence and sacrifice are diminishing?

Oh, and I'm sure this comment will get voted down by the masses because it doesn't "feel" good!

I think you meant to say Flu vaccine... wouldn't want you to be in trouble with the Ministry of Truth.

The CDC had to change the definition during the Covid pandemic to get people to take the shot.

How would you know if a higher dimensional being was directing it? We can't easily detect something outside our current physical dimensions.

We know that for our math to work there have to be a number of higher dimensions. I think it's more logical to believe this came from something instead of from nothing.

No idea, but the math says there have to be way more dimensions than we can interact with, so I'm thinking it's a higher dimensional being that we can't interact with. It/they would have to enter our dimension to communicate with us.

I'm pretty sure something this complex came from a higher order being. That whole order from chaos argument is not holding water for me with this degree of complexity.
