I have to agree to this as I feel likewise.

VCs and investors are perceiving they would want to copy and layoff during this season and try to bring people back to the office.

They are considering a company as healthier if they can layoff extra fat from COVID season.

I don't know why but I do feel there is a gap here to empower backend developers to take over the full stack. ( I am one of the developers looking out for a good maintained, component rich, completely supported JVM java based FE framework )

One of my reasons not to pick Vaadin was that it was backed by a company rather than a open source community. ( this seems better now in terms of support )

I do see other JVM languages like Kotlin seeing some success here.

Did you guys see dart and flutter ? I am pretty sure Java can do a comeback in terms of compiling to JS and taking the power from react/typescript guys !

I am a pure backend developer who has spent time with languages like Java/C/C#/Node/Python. In the recent times where all frontend is being created using React/Typescript - Do you still believe backend languages are fit to create best frontend websites, themes, dashboards and panels ?

If so, do they have established component frameworks that can be used from Day 1 ?

If so which framework do you use and share your website to convince me of the glory too ?

I think you should check out Nette, if you cherish and love codeigniter, Nette is even way too simpler and gets things done.

thanks for the apt response aligning with the lingo, yes - nomad usually orchestrates containers. ( and not vms was my belief too, i thought it can replace kubernetes )
