<p>I also am an avid screen user. There are a number of places where I need a serial console and TMUX basically says "we will not support serial connections ever".<p>screen is way better than the alternatives for what I want. I never got minicom to work as smoothly as screen. It's just so clunky.</p>

<p>That seems to reason. Unless you buy all your stuff at Walmart online, you have to go in and see the people working and their working conditions.<p>Amazon, you only see the checkout page. It makes it much easier to ignore the problems.</p>

<p>One thing I didn't see mentioned here (or the article) that I discovered recently is the "Heroic" game launcher that works in Linux. It lets you start and run GOG and Epic games on Linux. GOG has some Linux stuff, but Epic is allergic to anything but Windows.<p>It looks like Heroic sets up your wine environment for each game.<p>I've only installed one game from that, but it seems to work pretty well. Very slick too.</p>
