Academic achievement isn't rewarded socially for boys except a select core group. Therefore you don't get as much effort on boys who aren't in that core. Knock on effects could continue through the education system to the working world.
Also there is certainly a world right now that says, oh your a man? Life is pretty grand to be a man - especially if you are a certain social economic class. There is some truth to that but thats the exception not the rule.

I can agree with that -- however the amount of money the trial lawyers make comparatively is wildly disproportionate. I think that 186$ figure is an example on the high side of payouts to individuals.

I mean those class action lawsuits enrich trial lawyers and maybe force companies to behave better (though i bet empirical evidence would show that its more a cost of business).
The 20$ dollars people get is nothing but a guise that the trial lawyers are helping people.

The point is that its a proxy for more renewables being deployed on the grid. Thats the take away. It is a piece of good news. From one fellow energy nerd to likely another one - don't get hung up on the details. There is still a lot of work left to do.

I see your argument and has some merit but isn't persuasive enough. I would posit that its a bit too loose and that it breaks down on biological people have many more complicated systems that aren't simply re-categorized similar to your car and boat comparison.
For better or worse nor is our medical science sophisticated enough to swap out the systems to be true comparables (and I don't mean to offend anyone).
