How were you able to update the database frequently with python? I’m trying to basically have a database that mirrors historical data on an exchange, that also updates every 5 minutes — I’m trying to decide between a node server / python aws lambda.

Take a look at Bitcoins historical prices. I call what we’re experiencing right now the “Third Rise.” At the beginning of each, I thought there was no way the price would double or triple. Yet each time it did. I’d suggest if looking at history before you make such strong statements about Bitcoin’s price possibilities.

I’d say that Mail.app and Outlook have different use cases. Mail is much more lightweight and can be used for simple personal email. Outlook was designed with enterprise in mind - eg meeting room scheduling, wider confidentiality settings, event scheduling, etc.

I just bought some - I’m considering snap another case of what Facebook went through. Very well informed about their user, lots of talent working for them, tons of users. However, I think their success will need to come from tailored paid content (also read, they need to collect more data on their users).

Arrays and vectors are different. I’d suggest adhering to C-like conventions of data structures.

Those details are dealt with the contract between Msft and the Munich government. Microsoft, along with Amazon and Google, provide on-premise storage; so specified data never ends up leaving the system.

He more so explained his story, which was essentially: “I studied hard, got into a good school, and got a great job,” rather than explaining how he focuses on the process. The only example of “process” was his discovery during his internship that he _should_ focus on process.

I worked at Microsoft over the summer — we had a week where we could work for a variety charities and volunteer groups, while at the same time Microsoft matched $25 per hour we volunteered. I think all the interns in total raised over $100,000 in donations.

If you want to learn more I’d also suggest reading a book called Flash Boys. It’ll give you huge insight into what OP is talking about.

A lot of that is simply busy work and can in turn be automated. A huge bank like Goldman is essentially a middleman - and middlemen can also be trimmed down. For example, I was just talking to a friend who works at Goldman as a trader. 75% of his job is to answer the phone and deal with clients issues (eg “why is my account frozen?”). His job honestly sounded like a customer service job. He’s also the person who signs off on wire transfers, something that could easily be automated.

So much of the “value” Goldman supposedly creates is due to them creating an artificial need for it.

Atom’s detriment with this post is that there’s 4 paragraphs of text before I can even see what this feature looks like, and even then it’s gifs on how to install the feature.
