can someone explain why these development/SBC/foss friendly boards always have terrible support?!??
Particularly in these areas:
1. no vanilla kernel support
2. often require patches and blobs in the kernel
3. worst or nonexisting gpu acceleration
4. just not opensource in general, from blobs to drivers, to closed source boot code
why are these boards being sold as developer friendly when they are often less useful than their x86 counterparts, and very often less opensource?!

piracy for many, exists due to the freedoms it provides.
freedom todo format shift, copy, share, preserve, and largely a freedom from surveillance.
noone should be able to see what media u are viewing without ur explicit permission.
everytime u stream or buy, records of ur activity are created, and profiles are shared with brokers.
piracy done right, elimates all capitalism, but especially surveillance capitalism, and top down control over users of media

This article is just bait.
it says ... decades ago, 10%, now 20%, vapes 70%.
this is a bullshit fact.
if older weeds were half as "strong", the user could just smoke 2x as much and become just as high as with newer weeds. So everyone had access to the same highs, some might just need to take an extra hit or two. so its bad faith to say weed is too strong.
heres the kicker, they try to scare u even harder with 70% vapes... oooo 70 is way bigger than 10. But vapes give micro doses, so the user has to suck on the vape all day to get the same high as 10% flower.
This is the same bs arguments the authorities always make againt ending prohibitions...
This aint even ur daddys weed , its waaaay stronger and more dangerous.... so we should continue to treat smokers as criminals.

aliexpress is largely a bait and switch site.
most of the prices change during checkout in the most frustrating ways.
one u ready to check out, and provide ur payment into, and click to pay... they interrupt this fake checkout with a popover, inform u the price is actually much higher, and dangle a button which is one click to accept the new higher price.
this is total scam behaviour and probably illegal in most US states.

if something aint broke, dont fix it.
if there is a reason to upgrade, maybe wait until there are good reviews before actually applying it or make a safety backup first

I agree with any automatic updates being a back door.
Doesnt really matter which platform, automatic updates are bad news.
On windows it led to clownstrike.
On BMW it led to dash ads.
Theres infinite examples of auto updates being an attack vector for OEMs and other bad actors.
Always disable updates on every product. Can always reenable as needed or even sideload updates.

thats funny and true, but rags dont functionally replace a couch... but a reused food can does fully replace the function of an ashtray.
the rags have no structure, and will be very bad for ur body/postuds unless u use them as building material, for a actual unit of furniture
thia might not be a terrible idea as most commercial furniture is all synthetics and glues and various chemicalz which will off gas in your living space.
a couch made from old cotton rags and wood, wouldnt contain all those chems.
A fire retardant might be worth the health implications tho.
ashtrays are usually what ppl make in crafts when they dont know how to make anything else... ashtrays/bowls/vases
