The mobile app definitely has mark as unread. It's the envelope icon next to the trashcan (the exact same icon as in the web interface). Never realized there was a report phishing option. I just mark those emails as spam, which is available in the app.

The Nest smoke detector microphone was never really secret. It was part of the monthly self test to determine if the alarm was working. It would send you a notification telling you it was going to sound the alarm and that it would be listening for the sound to confirm it was working.

Edit: That article isn't about the Nest Protect (smoke detector), it's about the Nest Secure, an alarm system.

That service interval is pretty common across all bike suspension forks (and dropper posts are usually only around 50 hours).

A SR Suntour fork has a 100 hour maintenance interval, for example.

I think the main reason people choose the image of the man on the left is because the lighting in the picture on the right is worse. It casts sharp shadows which makes his neck and face look weird. I bet if the lighting was more diffuse, like the photo on the left, the results would be different.

Even dedicated receivers have software updates now. My Onkyo receiver had an update that added Dolby Atmos support, for example.
