I was quite impressed by the voice chat featured added to the ChatGPT app.

On the otherhand the Google assistant experience has been frustrating and gimmicky at best. I've found to do anything requires you to phrase things in a specific way, and even then it doesn't quite "get" what I'm looking to do.

I've never been able to find a better office suite. The FOSS alternatives and the google suite just don't do it for me.

I also switched back to Windows over Linux as my primary desktop environment.

Am I a victim of abuse?

(Mind you I don't pay for either)

Then pay them. It's not hard to figure how much energy you consumed and what the cost of electricity is, make a conservative estimate, round it up and give them the money.

Not really, there's a huge layer of prompt and response engineering sitting on top to make sure it gives the "right" response.

No it definitely sucks now, it's completely lobotomized, probably from having a major focus on erring on the side of caution.

This'll be the third time I'm unsubbing because the value isn't there and it's almost insulting.
