Starting this year, in Romania you cannot put new PV capacity online without the storage for it, is mandatory. Possibly for existing ones, but I am not sure.

I wonder if the corona times trend to WFH and jump to Teams/Zoom/etc meetings instead of physical meetings had/has a positive effect in regards to this.

yes because you are handling 100s of milions and you are some sort of public face then you get targeted.

But if you are some noname making maybe up to a few mils per year income, nobody is going to chase you and prove you are avoiding local taxation. You are always "in a short holiday trip" :).

In Germany yes, the law is pretty tough: you need to think _every_ day this "Will I be able to pay anything I have to pay with a horizon of 12 months?"

If in one day answer is NO, you have to immediatelly go and register insolvency. If you do not do it, big issue, and possible jail time.

This is a very insigthful comment! I also checked and the notary fee I paid 10+ years ago is the same as I paid this year ( for a GmbH founding ).

best anonymization would have been "hide in plain sight". If you really are a perpetrator: you would use a mask to perform the said fellony.

This is a valid concern for any runaway AI, but if energy is limited, then the AI would work on efficiency.

Still, Ai can move into physical space, as more and more robots of all kind are unleashed.

Hey, the e-trons from Audi are really well manufactured. I drive one daily and is a very pleasant drive, quiet and precise. And the software* is really well made - this took me by surprise.

*Can someone explain in 2026 why we are still shoveling Alexa shit everywhere? I cannot uninstall it from the car apps :(. Is Alexa still there during the GPTs era?
