I am very impressed with LLMs, but.....

I don't think we are seeing productivity gains due to LLMs in the general economy yet.

Even in software development, are we seeing an increase in the number of products or features shipped?

Maybe GAAP should be changed? Professional investors have the time to comb through the small print. These off balance sheet activities seem designed to bamboozle the small investor.

Depends on whether you want to contribute to the creation of a dystopia.

You could maybe make the effort to hire someone you trust. And put any true valuables in a safe.

The smart move would have been to get lower level managers to assign specific employees to experiment with applying LLMs to their processes and report back. Then incorpoate the findings into their processes.

Instead there was FOMO mass hysteria. Now there is a backlash. And a lot of time and money wasted.

If there was more diversity in predators and prey, the population cycles would have smaller amplitudes. The large swings are often symptoms of a collapsing ecosystem.

Interesting. A web form completed by the sales people would not have sufficed? I guess it's the backend interfaces to multiple systems that's the difficult part?
