yeah but when people talk about input lag for consoles its generally still in the 60hz sense, rare for games to be 120hz

smash brothers ultimate for example runs at 60fps and has 5-6 frames of input lag

I dont know everything i read online says its copyright infringement to create derivative works, outside of stuff like parodies, fair use and getting permission.

us code 106 gives the copyright holder exclusive rights of derivative works

so yes even at home, making art for a book you dont have permission for, and isnt seen by anyone but you, is still copyright infringement

yeah all three are copyright infringement

you cant make audio books, illustrations, or translations of a book without the authors permission

note that text to speech isnt considered derivative work. its considered a tool rather than creating content. so its legal for a kindle to read it to you

its illegal when its considered a derivative work (substantially altering or adding content)

those little modifications made from a consumer prob dont count. the first sale doctrine covers minor wear and tear type stuff

Clearplay has a whole law designated for it called the The Family Entertainment and Copyright Act

I think without this act it might be considered a deriative work and illegal actually

why wouldn’t microsoft make a portal and do 0%. they get all of the market share and analytics and good will, plus the value of being the main “other” store. they can break even on hosting fees with some ads

that difference is likely because of the smaller bezel rather than the display piece itself. they have said the screen protectors and other accessories will still work

moving the latency to the player client just makes everything feel terrible. its like playing in mud because your actions take 50ms-100ms of time to show up on your screen

I think there's a difference between "gamification", i.e. doing tasks for currency, points or prizes, and "video gaming", i.e. creating a circuit so that your house door in Minecraft opens with a switch.
