PS: I like the way you think :D

I used to write technical documents in prose style, sometimes with meandering stories. I guess I picked it up from my early blogging days. I realized I hated reading some of them back. So I tried to keep it cut and dried. I do sometimes sprinkle a bit of colorful wording just to add a bit of humanity but only if it doesn't get in the way of the main message.

It was nice when emoji were used sparingly and with purpose and intention.

As my childhood English teacher said - too much of anything, good for nothing.

Perhaps this model alone is not sustainable but it could be paired with ads (as in ads or fee off a tip jar pay). Even then, it surely won't lead to infinite growth, which is the only goal nowadays.

However they may have proved that they are indeed.. trash. Maybe even a few times.

In my eyes they are in the same class of Facebook, uservoice, Pinterest, Quora etc.

I use Brewfile too. Still prefer some stuff to be managed by brew. For example the browsers, App Store apps (managed via mas[1])

Also one more thing I started noticing is unnecessarily detailed comments in code, complete with issue numbers. And some of that belong in version control commit (IMHO).

I have a feeling that this is true and it's a bit sad.
