I’m sad to lose the cross stitching videos, the travel log clips, the live streams of people playing instruments, and the tons of animal videos. Trying Instagram Reels, everything feels performative, which is annoying.

Huh. I use checkout multiple times a day every day. It's how I switch branches, including creating new branches. I guess I could use other commands, but why change what's working fine?

I read The Hot Zone by Richard Preston and Into Thin Air by Jon Krakauer. Enjoyed both. Think I preferred Into Thin Air.

I modified my touch bar to no longer show the play/pause button because every time I forgot and hit it, I got punished by Apple Music opening and getting stuck in a loop of me force-quitting it and it restarting.

1899 was my cutoff, too. They had the nerve to recommend the show to me after it had been canceled, which I didn't know at the time. Got invested and looked for a season two release date, which is how I learned it was canceled. No longer a subscriber now.
