<p>If you work in C and are happy with the standard libraries and don't want to go too deep into the hardware then most of the 8-bit micros are pretty similar. During COVID and the component shortages I had to do a bit of swapping around, luckily it was all GPIO, I2C and UART stuff so nothing too taxing.</p>

<p>Rather than top scientists, the fund should target the young scientists, and or promoting companies that will employ these guys locally. Once lost to somewhere like the US, they rarely return. Me and a Lot of my friends who left in 97 and I still keep in touch with would never return without similar opportunities locally or the same seed funding we can get in US.</p>
