I tried registering a new account using my real name a few weeks ago (I have never used blue sky before this) and within 5 minutes got an email saying my account is suspended for spam behaviour that violates community guidelines. I hadn’t even posted anything with the account yet.

I appealed but my appeal has seemingly gone into a black hole somewhere.

This is how I’m working currently. I go into the office 0-2 times a week depending on work load. When deadlines are really tight I work from home completely for focus when it’s more relaxed i go into the office once or twice a week which I enjoy because I get to spend time with my colleagues e.g having lunch together, shooting the breeze or even collaborating on work stuff.

Making a living off “rich people problems” has nothing to do with empathy. If their problems put food on my table you best believe I’m going to cater to their bullshit. If it makes me rich even better

While agree that some of the Apache projects would be better written in something other than Java but the comment about spending hours debugging obscure Jvm issues is huge exaggeration
