I just tried daisyUI for a current job and found it a little frustrating. Couldn’t figure out how to modify backdrop on a modal, is just one example. Wound up just using headlessUI, which is from the makers of Tailwind… and also free. Albeit, not as robust as DaisyUI.

The judge ruled it was "fair use" because the VM's are used for security testing. The company behind this also requires you to register before they allow you to use the VM.

I made something very similar. https://cjboco.github.io/wordfinder/ - except mine you use normal keyboard to create your word and the on screen keyboard to exclude the characters. Think I prefer your way.

I have a Prusa i3 MK3S+ and am currently building a Voron 2.4. I looked at the Prusa XL, but I’m going with the 350 x 350 Voron Build instead. Mainly for the experience of building one, but also because I wasn’t to impressed with the new Prusa.

I'm not 100% sure, but I recall a story about a division of Samsung that made watches, being banned from selling them in Germany or somewhere like that. They copied/cloned something that Rolex did (Maybe the quartz crystal or something like that). Does anyone know the actual details about this story?

People keep using this same argument, but there's a little more too it than that. For example, if a graphic designer took the Coca-Cola logo and changed it just slightly. By your logic, they are in the clear because it's just "type", it's not like Coca-Cola invented fonts, right?

I think most people agree that there are enough similarities between the phones that it could be confusing, hence Apple is trying to protect it. You don't hear anyone complaining that MS ripped off Apple. MS came up with something that is different. All though it's still just a "grid of icons with text underneath".

I would like to see where that number is coming from. I've seen a lot of number's based on units shipped, but none on "actual" units sold. Curious what the 20% is actually based on.

Instead of our government trying to spy on us, perhaps we should try to turn the tables and enact some more laws and rules that lets the citizens spy on them.

I think a lot of people are missing the bigger picture here, which is Apple is unwilling to just hand over user details, which the Financial Times and the likes want. The 30% cut "gripe" is just what they are telling the public to try to get you on "their" side. If I recall, Amazon actually had (has) a larger piece of the pie for subscriptions, but they are will to give out User Information.

Companies like Sony make claims that their Intellectual Property is worth X amount in court and go after individuals for huge amounts of money. I think you could argue that people's Personal Information is worth at least X + Y more.

If someone takes them to court and a huge, ridiculous, judgement is handed out, then maybe these companies will think twice about securing their customers data. Seriously, unencrypted password fields? A SQL injection?

Of course, I'm just dreaming.
