so when do we get it flipped to a nationwide bird migration tracking system?
as someone pointed out: let's make that "flock" name accurate
also make it identify bird song, I am sure there are microphones on there

I don't think consumers would accept this but for athletes there has been some research that the EARLOBE might be the ultimate single point for measurement
They can even measure blood pressure in lab tests during MOVEMENT at the earlobe
Heartrate, spO2, temperature and it's even a good location for very low level of sound to be heard
Again consumers would never adopt an earlobe cuff, well maybe it was artistic somehow and not heavy/distracting
But athletes would use whatever works
If I had millions I'd invest in development, so steal this idea?

well apparently the US now has "space weapons" which by definition have to be remote control
and that means unlike nukes which hopefully still need a 2-man manual switch, the "space lasers" could be taken over by "AI"
and then "AI" just blackmails and threatens the right people with those "space lasers" to get what it wants or even just stay online
there was a 1970 movie based on a 1966 book which predicted this
"Colossus: The Forbin Project"
the book it was based on was written before we even landed on the moon
decade before Wargames
* https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Colossus:_The_Forbin_Project
did terribly in theaters, I guess people didn't think "AI" was plausible then
way ahead of its time, they should do a remake
trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kyOEwiQhzMI

the idea that the orange infant can order the use of weapons in space should be terrifying to everyone regardless of politics
no-one is stupid enough anymore to say "oh he would never"
or "only against people we don't like"
No, of course he would use it against Canada or Greenland if he woke up on the wrong side of the bed or didn't sleep at all
He clearly has rage fits which is one of the early signs of dementia
He would most definitely order the use of space weapons
I am really surprised he has not nuked some part of Iran yet, innocent civilians be damned but there are still 800 days left so here's hoping we don't wake up to that headline

the news media also played it on endless loops for months
in my life I've been notably traumatized first by the endless loops of the Challenger tragedy and then 9/11, I often wonder what the next event will be
I should also point out we also killed a million people in Iraq in response to 9/11 who will never ever have a memorial, Bush/Cheney would never ever have had the military enlistment to invade Iraq if it wasn't for the hype of 9/11 by the media, even Bush has mentioned it himself

I guess the key thing to the 9/11 event is it was sudden and instant
1.5 Million people died from Covid, not just died but SUFFERED and died from 2020-2024
there was a 9/11 every other day for years, sometimes every day
there are STILL in 2026 several hundred per month dying from Covid
there are still ten million people or more living the hell of long-covid and will never recover
but because Covid was spread out over years, not a single memorial, it will never be over
