Having some really good fun with it so far with System Design (ERP) mainly SAP.

I did notice if you go beyond Medium he starts overthinking like hell as per usual for a Qwen model.

Been trying out Qwen3.8-27B-Q5_K_S_20GB and it's quite interesting it's behaving very well.

Going to give it some coding tasks and see how it goes.

Yeah I noticed it didn't make much to me besides make me have weird dreams.

I do recommend people to have a healthy lifestyle and avoid screens 45 mins before bed.

I'm using Qwen and Gemma 4 locally and it's pretty good stuff, not frontier level but gets the job done.

Just like many comments have been saying here, I also tested Fugu and some others and what I noticed is that they are quite expensive models, 20$ is not enough to complete a full workflow which in Opus it's possible, sure you might need to improve your prompt from the get go with Opus if you want the best results but so far that's my experience.

My next test will be Agentic systems and see how they perform

Reminder to the people reading this thread and overall comments, that in Europe everyone uses Debit Cards instead of Credit Cards.

Credit Card in Europe is very much associated with Debt.

I have tried in both my Mac and my desktop (Rtx 5090) with Gemma 4 and Qwen and so far nothing is quite replacing Claude Code or Kiro for spec driven architecture & development.

I do think we are slowly getting Gemma 4 was a big jump

If it’s for future models at the same level of Sonnet and Opus, then it might become a problem for the for companies using this.

At the end of the day we will need private LLMs and Cohere might save a traço great chance here

With how things are going, I'm really wondering how we are gonna tackle the consumer market for things like gaming and machine learning.

No doubt Cloud Gaming is in the cards for the future, only purists like myself with an RTX 5090 will pay premium for offline gaming

If we didn’t have Kernel Anti Cheat in Windows, it would be a godsend for Linux gaming.

It’s literally the only issue missing (and some games not available under Xbox game app but I mean it’s Microsoft as publisher so no intention for Linux version)

Absolutely, but also you need to make sure you take on the strategical work of your manager and not the typical day 2 day stuff at operational/expected level, you need to do stuff above your waist line.

I liked the article and it’s right, but at the end of the day you also need to make sure your manager puts you up for promotion and that he is allowed by their management as well.

Honestly, it' crazy how limited the iPad still is in this day and age. I was hoping for them to add a terminal and improve the files app.

But I already gave up on it especially after the recent comments from Apple as they want people to buy both devices to 'complement' each other: https://www.macrumors.com/2024/05/13/apple-vp-mac-ipad-compl...

I own an M1 iPad Pro but 80% of the time I use it as a sidecar due to how limited it is.

I use the iPad Pro with a keyboard and Remote Desktop to my Mac or my server at home.

They gotta keep working on the software side of things like drivers, FSR and more.

AMD is so far behind on this.

In the other hand though, their 3D Cache chips are amazing
