I had a pretty similar experience with skype. I lost access to my connected email account and was essentially locked out of my account forever - repeated emails to support were met with silence, alas! Then I connected my facebook account to use skype instead... then they discontinued support for that. Now it's got to a point where attempting to create a new account on the OSX desktop version just shows an error screen every time, so I'm stuck unable to use skype forever. I've moved on to other, better solutions, naturally :)

I had a similar experience with an authorised repair place - my keyboard went on the blink (as has been reportedly recently with all the touchbar MBPs. Upon opening it they found a coffee stain from where I had spilt coffee on it months before. Their response "we can't fix it sorry, Apple wouldn't allow it"...

Compared to the other budget providers (Easyjet, Flybe [who frankly, aren't even budget prices]), they're miles ahead. The Easyjet routes I used to fly regularly were late every single time, and a member of airport staff told me ~50% of Easyjet flights were delayed in that particular airport. While Ryanair is certainly super basic, and they take every opportunity to sell you tat, they've been far more consistent and far cheaper than the alternatives in my experience

I feel the Dutch are a lot more casual about it and less grumpy. Germans are direct when unhappy about something ("don't be so loud", "get your feet of the seats"), but are much more likely to stare disapprovingly.
Dutch are also more direct when talking about themselves/their feelings - you would never hear a German say "my new haircut looks great"

>I can't really think of many reasons why you would use crypto to pay for a coffee or a sandwich if you live in the West (or frankly, even most developing nations).
Credit card companies/banks sell your transaction data for a lot of money, and plenty of unscrupulous players can garner a lot about your life from such data. While BTC is only pseudonymous, it can provide some shielding from this.

Sure if you run manual tests once they might be faster than test implementation, but having an automated test suite protects against regression. Having to do a full manual test for every change is going to consume a lot of time.
