It is common sense for normal people when using these devices.

Even the author doesn't want to move.

The real problem is that the author accepted Apple's terms without even knowing or reading the terms like most people do. By using the iPhone he agrees to their ToS.

I know this because the terms of service shows up you setup the iPhone and when you update the iPhone OS.

How does a normal person get the same service as iCloud for their personal device while syncing _all_ their photos, app data to it?

The solution is to accept the terms, and move on.

The TAM for Anthropic and OpenAI is anything that runs software or a screen.

Any software or technology business that has high margins that Anthropic and OpenAI are not doing will be a target.

After both their IPO's mandates Wall Street them to push for more growth by competing in other technology business areas or they will get punished in the markets.

Most of these AI wrappers shouldn't be businesses and most of them are scams.

When OpenAI and Anthropic's TAM is any software business or anything that runs on a digital screen, the margins for every software business trends to 0.

The same way everyone in the valley knows Naval Ravikant for example, angels and VCs will back any project he does even if his product has no distribution.

How do we stop them?

We can make an open letter to the AI labs and the employees (they can be anonymous confirmed signatories of course) so that they can reconsider their business models.

This is the main problem.
