Congestion pricing can work to dissuade individuals from living in the burbs, only if there is controls on real estate to deal with the influx of people moving inward. The other benefit is an increase of mass transit usage, which is a plus?

I personally took a cab from Newark to Laguardia at MIDNIGHT and it took 40 min to cross into Manhattan to get to the Queens-Midtown tunnel. Just a new level of traffic. Was fun going in the MIB tunnel.

APC has gone downhill in the time I've been a sysadmin. Eaton is the way to go for commercial units. Don't purchase anything without a bypass or else the UPS will be dead when the battery dies, as decent UPSs operate in on-line mode.

I am concerned about newish implementation of li-ion cells in commercial UPSs. They are not designed to stay at capacity for a long time. That coupled with the volatility of li-ion, means there may be more datacenter fires in the future.

Correct, the dongles connect via ethernet cables (not ip protocol) to the raritan unit. Then you access the raritan via IP to access the dongle outputs.

Used Raritans are pretty cheap on ebay. The dongles are even cheaper.
