Hi, yes the Gare du Nord (ie North Train Station) mainly has trains going to the north. For the south, you'd have to go to the Gare de Lyon, Lyon being a city in southern France :)

Well personally I bought a used car which got out of the factory in 2010 and has a gauge cluster which isn't a screen.
I see no reason to buy new instead of used, and I see no reason why I would change my car to a newer one anytime soon.
I agree that automotive engineers do not work for the end customer leading to shittier cars, but I also think that most people are unable to vote with their wallet (or just don't care).

I don't understand why multiplayer games don't run more on the server. If the server runs the game, then sends to client only what it needs to display the game and play sounds, the client doesn't have more information than necessary and a whole class of cheats is eliminated. There is no need for a client to know where an enemy player is if the player won't be shown on screen (wall hacks).
I think World of Tanks runs this way, and I've never encountered much cheating on there.

The difference for me is how much time do I need to spend to tweak the system, and how much frustration will I still experience after tweaking everything I could.
I found a Linux distro which suits my needs and desires out of the box, that I can just install and immediately get started doing whatever I need to do. It makes using a computer much more enjoyable.

The casing was changed, before almost every word had an uppercase. I'll never understand that trend!

The article actually mentions that:
"I really appreciate them including the keyboard here, as the display looks great but is definitely not all that responsive, so typing would be a lot more frustrating without this."
I don't know how much the fast refresh rate mode helps in that regard.

When you buy something on Le Bon Coin, if it's not conform to the description or outright broken, you can very easily get a refund from the platform itself up to 3 days after reception, even if the seller disappeared. I think it encourages people to buy used stuff by removing the main drawback which is "it may not work properly anymore".

Built a gaming desktop for a friend almost 2 years ago; used GPU and CPU (maybe a few others things too), everything's going great. It helps that our local Cragslist offers efficient buyer protection.
Server-side, I also bought used Xeons for an old box and recertified 10TB Exos. No issues there neither.
The HDDs are a bit of a gamble, but for anything else I can only encourage you to buy used!
