psa, "is comprised of" is almost never correct. "comprises" means "is composed of". so when people say X is comprised of Y they really mean "X comprises Y" or "X is composed of Y"

their chatkit demo (chatkit.world) doesn't even work in safari. also "react bindings" and "vanilla js" isn't exactly "framework-agnostic". I don't like the idea of embedding someone else's UI in my app. This seems like an overly generalized solution for a specific set of problems.

if frameworks are specifications, then a new framework is definitionally a new standard. it’s not an ISO or ANSI standard. but the point of the comic is, there are 10 web frameworks, we need one to be the best of all of them! there are 11 frameworks.

racism is bad business. the market deals with it in the following ways: - the competent people who are being discriminated against leave and go to places where they aren’t discriminated - people in protected classes sue for discrimination - companies that don’t discriminate get a reputation as such and attract the best - companies that keep discriminating keep losing talent and getting hit with lawsuits

what else could you possibly need to show that racism is bad business? that racists get what’s coming to them in the long term?
