Because it is the reason the US is a tech hub in the first place ?

No immigration means no concentration of talent, which means companies would just move to a country that allows that (e.g. Ireland) and they'll take their high-paying jobs with them.

BYD targets a different market. Tesla should compete with the likes of Polestar, Rivian, maybe Porsche if they dare but I'd take any of those before a Tesla any day of the week.

On the PlayStation VR 2, there is Resident Evil 4 and 8. I'd never cared for those games until I tried them in VR. I'd argue is more like a good game with decent VR support rather than a good "VR" game though. That's also the case for things like Hitman, No Man's Sky, Metro Awakening and such.

And then there are the racing sims. I find these are such an immersive experience it reaches an uncanny-valley type feeling for me, where my body is expecting G-forces that never come, or gets confused with the steering wheel not being the exact same size as my eyes are seeing. It's great though, and definitely recommended if you enjoy cars at all.

That's a feature for a good number of games, if not most. For example, Resident Evil 4/8 in VR are by far the best horror experiences I've had, and part of it is that you stop seeing your living room while playing.

There is zero chance that aiming with a controller is more intuitive than point-and-shoot. What I get from your comment is that the movement can be awkward which is absolutely true, but plenty of games have neat ways around that. And then there are games that require no actual movement, like racing games with a sim setup.

What bothers me is that despite all of that pain, they still let through a ton of low-effort app clones in their store, which sometimes even come up before the original ones. If you search for GTA you get a ton of lookalikes, some of which even use screenshots of GTA V which clearly aren't the actual game.

I got a razer blade that is around the same price as a macbook. At first it seemed like great build quality, but after replacing an inflated battery, an SSD that liked to shut off randomly and being blocked off latest windows due to the "old" CPU (this is a 2018-2019 laptop mind you) I've given up on it. Meanwhile my mom is still using my 2013 Macbook Air

It took me about a year to move to my own domain, but it was a great opportunity to clean up 20 years worth of unused accounts, so a net positive I think.

I’ve kept my @gmail address as a backup, though I only check it about once a week now. Plus, I’m free to use it for any new random accounts I don't really care.

They only have to be consistently better than the competition, and they are, by far. I always look for reviews before buying anything, and even then I've been nothing but disappointed by the likes of Razer, LG, Samsung, etc.
